About SED.....
SED, an international science club aimed towards middle/high school students, was founded by Idam Suh, and stands for Science Environmental Development.
"S" represents the club's passion for science. "E"stands for environment, symbolizing the importance of the sustainability: we must not pursue scientific technological development for human's convenience, but for no-damage-to-nature development. Lastly, "D" represents the development of passion/interest of members, specifically in science. These values are also part of the eligibility requirements for the SED application. The club deals with 6 scientific fields/subjects in total as listed below.

What do SED Club Members do?
SED Club consists of 3 teams: Research Team, Magazine Team, and Spreading Idea(SI) Team.
1. Research Team
Members of Research Team conduct research together to create positive externality out of scientific findings. The team consists of 2 divisions. The middle/high school students from Asia, Europe, Oceania, or Africa can join Research Team Division 1 and students from American continent can join Research Team Division 2.
2. Magazine Team
Magazine Team members write at least one article per person for monthly science Magazine "Curiosite". More information is available on the Magazine’s website.
3. SI Team
SI Team is a newly assembled team since May 2026, aimed toward creating tutoring videos, worksheets, and study guides.
Our Values/Rules
There are several values that SED pursues in addition to our 3 core values (Science, Environment, and Development). These values are also requirements for eligibility of SED Application Form.
1. Academic Honesty
SED members are not permitted to use AI or plagiarise somebody else’s work. If members use external sources, they must cite the work.
2. Responsibility/Passion
While SED doesn't require the perfect performance or specific talent in science, members should be responsible for their tasks/roles in the club and should be passionate about science.
3. Respect/ Non-violence
SED members should be respectful to each other and there should be no violence in SED; this includes disrespectful/violent/bad words during communication.

If you are certified for 1 year or longer, you will gain an additional advantage when you fill out the registration form later. You will no longer be a supporter once you become a member.
